This jet socket works with all snap-in jets from the Waterway Mini Storm range. It does not work with the newer thread-in jets, for which a dedicated socket is available.
The jet socket is the fitting attached to the spa shell, with a nut nut to hold it in place. The inner jet (or "jet body" in the industry jargon) clips inside the socket.
The flow of water will suck in air by the Venturi effect, which will create little bubbles in the jet. If you would prefer not to have any bubbles, you can plug the air intake and the water jet will continue to function normally.
